Description
512 Channels and 33 Zones
512 memory channels on the PT8200 enable the mobile to accommodate a vast number of users and groups. 33 zones on the PT8200 enable the use to group different channels as a group and provide flexible in organizing work groups. In addition, Each zone and channel can be assigned with a customized name for easy identification.
Rugged and Reliable Construction
It meets MIL-810-C/D/E/F standards. Vibration and extreme temperature, salt fog test, low pressure and solar radiation tests have been conducted on this model, ensuring durability in the harshest of environments.

Multiple emergency Mode
For enhanced user safety, Lone Worker and security verification are incorporated. This requires the user to reset at a predetermined interval in order to avoid the radio automatically entering into emergency mode and sendnig Alert Notification. During emergency, ENI & background and emergency alarm can be sent to a dispatch center and other operators.
Over-heating Protection
In the event of prolonged transmissions at high power and with temperature exceeding a preset limit, the radio will automatically switch to mid-power or low-power in order to avoid overheating. The maximum temperature level is a customer configurable parameter.
Wide Frequency coverage
Wide frequency band coverage including 136-174M, 400-470M, 450-520M, offering flexibility for a variety of applications.
Enhanced Call Function
The enhanced call management functions include Emergency, PTT ID, call alert, radio check, kill/active, stun/revive, security verification, private call, group call, message, status, etc.
OST Function
OST function allows the setting of CTC/DCS by using the programming key on each channel.
Horn Alert Function
When receiving 5-Tone, 2-Tone, MDC, DTMF or KDC decode, the radio can be used to control vehicle functions such as the light or speaker etc. It can be used to alert user to an incoming call, even when not in close proximity to the vehicle.
