LigoWave Releases New PTP MIMO Firmware, Version 6.75.  

- Improved throughput, greater than 200mbps over the air capacity

LigoWave is announcing a release of a new v6.70 open beta firmware for LigoPTP MiMo equipment. LigoWave has developed a new protocol named W-Jet MiMo 2™, which allows to increase the distance and performance of a link. This ground-breaking technology delivers 180 Mbps half-duplex and increases the distance of the link to more than 100 kilometers. It also makes the link more robust in a noisy environments where other equipment would not even associate or provide a really low throughput.

It is possible to reset a LigoWave or Deliberant radio using a ping during the radio startup.  

This blog provides instructions on how to perform this ping reset. 

This method allows you to reset a radio mounted on a tower without having to climb the tower.  

Field testing results from LigoWave Customers in Mexico have provided 70Mbits throughput over a 77km link using firmware 6.5.3.  Read on for details of the links and an image.
